The fourth Halloween movie brings back Michael Myers to stalk Laurie’s daughter Jamie Lloyd, and here are ten things you may not know about the film.

After Halloween III took the famous film franchise in another direction by omitting Michael Myers, fans weren’t thrilled. The decision was made to bring the Shape back with Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. Some fans love it while others don’t, but as it features the debut of Danielle Harris as Jamie Lloyd, it’s an important and memorable entry in the series.

Let’s take a minute to go through ten random facts about Halloween 4 which you probably didn’t know…

10. Lindsey from the original films is all grown up

Dr. Loomis and Michael Myers aren’t the only characters from the original films to make their return in this entry. Remember the two children who were being babysat by Laurie Strode? A little girl named Lindsey Wallace was being watched along with Tommy Doyle (who would show up again himself two movies later). Although Michael kills several of Laurie’s friends, both children manage to escape with their lives.

In Halloween 4, Lindsey is now a teenager, and she’s close friends with Jamie’s foster sister Rachel. Early in the film, Lindsey picks up Rachel and Jamie after school and gives them a ride. Fortunately for her, she isn’t seen again for the rest of the movie, meaning she once again survives Michael’s rampage. Although this isn’t the same actress — Lindsey is played by Kyle Richards in the originals and Leslie L. Rohland in this film — it’s intended to be the same character.
