Horror on Netflix: July 2018 additions

If you’re wondering what horror (and horror-ish) movies are new on Netflix this month, we’ve got the full list of titles available for July 2018.

Netflix doesn’t exactly specialize in the horror genre. Still, there’s a large assortment of horror movies on there for fans of the genre to enjoy. And while the selection doesn’t exactly match what you’ll see on Shudder, the new additions added each month give the horror fan subscribers something new to look forward to each month. Fortunately, it’s not too bad of a selection this time around.

For those feeling that dinosaur nostalgia after watching the newest Jurassic World movie, the first three films in the franchise can now be revisited on Netflix. Jurassic ParkThe Lost World, and Jurassic Park 3 are all now streaming on the service. While the films vary in quality, it might be fun to binge them all in a row sometime this month.

But the standout film for horror fans should be the fourth entry in the Scream franchise, aptly titled Scream 4. While I’ve seen the other movies in the series come and go on the service quite a bit, it’s nice to see Scream 4 make its way in. Having not seen this film in a while, it’s definitely one I plan to revisit myself.
