Winnie the Pooh is evil in mock Christopher Robin trailer

For a long time, I’ve been of the mind that anything can be horror given the right twist. This mock trailer for Christopher Robin proves that theory.

“I’ve told you before, bears are terrifying.” ~ Sheldon Cooper, The Big Bang Theory

Greetings residents of Elm Street. I’m sure most of you, like me, were Winnie the Pooh fans as children.  Now that we’re older and fans of horror, we can ask ourselves what if the silly old bear was far less silly and more sinister. Thanks to Youtuber Jaboody Dubs, we don’t have to worry anymore. Now we have an epic recut trailer of Christopher Robin as a horror film!

While there is another horror trailer version of Christopher Robin on Youtube, it just adds some ominous music. Jaboody Dubs‘ version adds voice over lines. Let’s face it, the plot for the film is kind of creepy as is. It’s one thing to think your stuffed animals are alive as a child, but if you’re seeing those stuffed animals alive you might have a problem.

This film would realistically end with Christopher Robin in a padded cell wearing a self hug jacket. However if those same stuffed animals are plotting to kill your entire family, that’s a totally different kind of problem.  Now I just wish this could be a real movie. After seeing the video you will too.

This tubby little cubby is all stuffed with blood. You better hope he doesn’t get a rumbly in his tummy for your flesh!  Okay, yeah I’m done. While it’s easy to tell the lines are dubbed on most of the voices, the voice of Winnie The Pooh is scarily accurate. If I didn’t know any better and only heard the Winnie The Pooh voice, I’d think this was a legit movie. We can dream can’t we?
