Masters of The Grind Indiegogo campaign launches this Monday

Grindhouse fans….you’re in for a bloody good time…
Masters of the Grind is 17 years in the making but needs your help. Director Jason Rutherford is launching an Indiegogo campaign Monday, July 23rd for post-production costs in an attempt to finish the project.
Rutherford, director of this year’s indie horror gem Shhh!, is an expert in exploitation cinema. He contributed archival materials to Pieces, I Drink Your Blood, The Curious Case of the Campus Corpse, Grizzly, Penitentiary, Maniac, Hi-Riders/The Bad Bunch, Wonder Women and Malibu High. He’s worked with Grindhouse Releasing, VCI, Code Red, Vinegar Syndrome and Blue Underground.
Now he’s taking that knowledge to bring a riveting documentary about the grindhouse directors, whose films graced the screens of the good ol’ sleazy theaters of 42nd street and Hollywood Boulevard in the 70’s, 80’s, and beyond.
