Five Fangtastic Vampire Movies You Should See ASAP!

Grab your garlic and holy water! 1428 Elm’s Lorry Kikta gives you a list of her five favorite vampire films that you can sink your teeth into today!

I have always loved every variation of the vampire genre since I was a little kid. I’m sure the first introduction I had to them was probably an episode of Scooby Doo, but it didn’t take long for me to get to the good stuff. Interview With The Vampire, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Nosferatu, and of course Bela Lugosi’s legendary performance in Dracula are all stand-outs.

However, I feel like almost anyone who even has a passing interest in horror has seen these films (which does not detract from their excellence in any way). I’d like to mention five vampire movies that maybe the average film-goer hasn’t seen. There will be no Twilight on the list, not just because I feel like everyone in the world has seen the trilogy except for me, but mainly because there are literally HUNDREDS of other vamp flicks to watch.

No offense to Robert Pattinson, who I actually think is a great actor, but I have never been one for YA adaptations (it took me about four years to finally watch The Hunger Games films). Call me old-fashioned, call me a snob, but them’s the breaks. Anyway, let’s begin on our journey down the slightly-less-beaten path of my favorite vampire films.
