2. Never Say Never – Romeo Void (S02 E06 Trapped Inside)

Talk about bringing back memories, Never Say Never does it for me. When I was in high school, MTV played this on heavy rotation. “I might like you better if we slept together,” is actually a perfect lyric to be used in this episode.

Chet and Ash are in Ash’s house when they are greeted by Cheryl, Ash’s dead sister. When he was younger, Chet had a crush on her. The two men know that something isn’t right because of her sudden appearance.

Of course, because things end up being the way they are in Elk Grove, Chet gets trapped in Cheryl’s bedroom when she reverts into her true Deadite self. Romeo Void is playing in the background as he struggles with her.

Outside there is an angry mob formed demanding Ash’s head. Kelly and Linda are trying to hold them at bay. While they are fighting the populace of Elk Grove, Ash is trying to save his best friend.

Which doesn’t go well. Cheryl ends up literally ripping Chet’s heart out of his chest. In the end, Ash “surrenders.” Before the mob can turn on him, his sister shows up and he sets out to prove that Deadites are real.

He convinces the crowd by killing his sister, again. But then, he gets knocked out by Baal.
