Clowning Around: 10 must watch horror movies with creepy clowns

If you’re a fan of scary clowns, there are a few in the genre that will chill your blood. Here is a list of 10 must watch horror movies with creepy clowns.

Some may argue that clowns have always had a dark side, but in the 1940s, they weren’t seen that way. Clowns were well-known as “comic performers” with an amiable persona and loved by many children, who couldn’t wait to invite them to their next big event.

However, as the time ensued, most of society’s perception of clowns changed. This wasn’t long after Stephen King’s 1990 movie IT was released, along with a plethora of other horror movies before it that portrayed clowns as villains.

Those movies may have changed the way people think about clowns, but I’ve always thought they were creepy. As a horror movie buff, I don’t mind this change because I enjoy evil clowns, on film that is.
