Killjoy was released in 2000 and was directed by Craig Ross Jr. It’s about a bullied teen named Michael (Kareem Grimes), who wants more than anything to fit in with his peers and to be with the girl, Jada (Vera Yell), he loves. However, that opportunity was taken away when her boyfriend, Lorenzo (William J. Johnson), and his gang lured him away to a secluded area and shot him to death.
What they didn’t know, was that Michael used black magic moments before his death to bring his only friend, a doll named Killjoy (Angel Vargas), to life in hopes that it would get rid of Lorenzo.
One year after Michael’s death, Killjoy comes to life and the killer clown is on a revenge mission to kill everyone. The only way to stop the evil clown is for Jada to kill it and destroy the doll.
