Terrifier was released in 2016 (although it screened in 2016), and was written and directed by Damien Leone. This is a creepy clown film that is often compared to an 80s horror movie because of the excessive blood and gore.

It appears that Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) was the assailant in a massacre some time ago. A woman who survived claimed that she “saw him die,” but no one can find his body.

Art the Clown returns to the town on Halloween night to finish what he started, killing everyone that stands in his way.
