8. The Clown at Midnight (1998)

This1998 horror film takes place in an abandoned opera house, where the gruesome murder of an opera singer Lorraine Sedgewick (Vicki Marentette) took place.  When her daughter Kate (Sarah Lassez) and her friends visit the opera house, strange occurrences began.

One by one, the teens are murdered by their teacher, Mr. Caruther (Christopher Plummer), who dressed up as a clown.
