Steven Yeun, formerly Glenn Rhee on The Walking Dead is the latest actor to board The Twilight Zone.

Steven Yeun who became fan favorite Glenn Rhee on The Walking Dead has a new role on the horizon. Yesterday, Deadline announced that the actor has been cast in Jordan Peele’s upcoming reboot of Rod Serling’s The Twilight Zone.

It is being reported that he will be starring in an episode entitled, The Traveler. Not much detail is given as with most of the actors that have been added to the series. However, there are several vintage The Twilight Zone shows from the past that deal with that subject.

One of the old episodes that features a character with that description is called The Howling Man. Of course, this is pure speculation but the premise behind this particular story is a traveler needs to stay out of a storm. So, he ends up at an abbey where some monks have imprisoned a man.

The prisoner begs the traveler to help him. When he is about to assist him, the head monk reveals that the incarcerated man is in fact, Satan. Then it becomes a tale of who to believe.

It might turn out that Yeun’s role is in fact an original one with no roots in the past incarnation of the sci-fi series. We may end up being pleasantly surprised.

Since Yeun left TWD he has been rather busy. He appeared in one of the most talked about movies of the year, Sorry to Bother You as Squeeze. In 2017, he was in the cult favorite, Okja as K.
