Horror film fans can find awards season to be frustrating. So, we have decided to create our own list of unforgettable performances that deserve attention from members of the Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Academy.
Horror film fans often find it frustrating to watch the awards season unfold. The pressure for an actor or actress to deliver fear, and layered performances feels underrated at the Oscars. “Silence of the Lambs,” “Get Out,” and more have found a way to get their actors and actresses into the Oscar race, with several even winning gold.
With the year wrapping up, there were certainly big performances in these films that deserve awards consideration. With the rest of Hollywood on vacation, here are some of the best performances in the genre that deserve real consideration. Check out our list!
