Horror movie actors and actresses that should be nominated for an Oscar

3. Tilda Swinton – Suspiria (Supporting Actress)

Playing one character might be tough enough for some actors. Two really stretches the limits of what is possible on screen, even to the point that one feels weaker. However, Tilda Swinton proved she is among the all-time great performers in film history, not only playing three separate characters (in the same scene no less) but crossing genders at the same time.
In Suspiria, Swinton delivers fully formed and diverse characters with the assistance of makeup effects. As Madame Blanc she delivers obsession and fear, while Dr. Josef Klemperer yields regret. You can’t get into the third without spoilers, but suffice it to say, it’s scary as hell.
