Spring (2014)

When you go on vacation or need to run away for a while to a foreign land and you are single person, there is the fantasy of falling in love with a stranger during your adventure. Then, if you do happen to fall in love on your trip, it’s hard to get to know a person completely in that time.

Sometimes, they could be harboring a dark secret. Maybe they are secretly married, maybe they don’t have the money they said they did or just maybe they turn into a murderous monster when they don’t take their medication. You just never know. Such is the case with the romantic creature feature Spring, directed by Justin Benson.

Spring stars Lou Taylor Pucci and Nadia Hilker as Evan and Louise. Evan takes a trip to Italy after a personal crisis in the United States. There he meets Louise and he is infatuated. Little does he know that if she doesn’t take her medicine, she turns into a creature and crazy murders people, putting him in danger of being killed, himself.

Is there any way two people can make it work when one of them may transform and eat your face? This Valentine’s Day horror film explores love, choice, and transformation.
