It’s been a tremendous, game-changing decade for the horror genre. Here are our choices for the ten best horror films of the 2010s so far!

Wow, what a decade it has been for the horror genre. By all counts, the 2010s have provided fans with some of the best horror films ever made. The ’70s and ’80s are considered to be the greatest decades of horror cinema, but history will one day show that these modern movies of ours were on the the same level as those classics.

There have been so many great horror films released this decade that limiting a list to ten choices almost feels unfair. It goes without saying that many beloved movies *just* missed out on our ranking, although it could be argued that they belong here. It’s a testament to the overall quality of the decade that the films and positions of this list were so difficult to finalize, but we’re comfortable with out selections.

In celebration of the last nine years, and with several potential titles for the list that have yet to be released in 2019, we’re taking a look at ten of the best horror films of the 2010s so far.
