A series based on horror writer Joe Hill’s novel NOS4A2 is coming to AMC this summer, and mages from the upcoming series were just released.
AMC has released a trailer and new photos from their upcoming supernatural series NOS4A2, which is premiering this summer. The 10-episode series is based on the Joe Hill novel of the same name.
As a fan of the book, I am stoked about this series, and the photos look very promising. If you are not familiar with “NOS4A2,” you may know of Hill’s other works, including “Heart-Shaped Box” and “Horns” (which was made into a movie starring Daniel Radcliffe).

NOS4A2 introduces us to young Vic McQueen, who has a knack for finding lost items through supernatural means. She has an encounter with a very scary man named Charles Manx, who, along with his psycho sidekick Bing, specializes in abducting children. Worse still, Manx exists by feeding off the souls of these children, then releasing their vampire-like husks into “Christmasland.”
Vic manages to escape Manx, but is left emotionally and psychologically scarred from the experience, regularly receiving frightening phone calls from Manx’s vampire children. Things get worse when Manx targets Vic’s young son.
The newly released images introduce us to the characters in NOS4A2. First up, we have Ashleigh Cummings (Hounds of Love) as Vic, and Virginia Kull (Big Little Lies) as her mother Linda McQueen:
