Bruce Campbell will be appearing at the Britt Music and Arts Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon in July. Tickets for his event go on sale this Monday!

Bruce Campbell the veteran actor of film and television will be appearing at the Britt Music and Arts Festival in his hometown of Jacksonville, Oregon this summer. This is a great chance for fans to see him in person as a narrator!

That’s right. Campbell will be reading from the time-honored piece of children’s literature, Peter & the Wolf to orchestral accompaniment. Teddy Abrams the music director for the Britt Festival Orchestra will be conducting the Sergei Prokofiev piece.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with the story, Peter is a young lad who ends up outwitting and capturing a wolf that has been tormenting his village. What makes this such a unique tale is that the action is expressed entirely with musical instruments!

The family friendly event will be held on July 23 at 7:30 p.m. If you wish to attend, General Public Tickets will go on sale Monday, March 11. Also, on that same night, acclaimed musician and vocalist, Caroline Shaw will be lending her talents to the Alice McLerran beloved classic, The Mountain That Loved a Bird.

Bruce has done an impressive amount of voice over work in his career including animated films and TV series as well as characters in popular video games. This event is also a chance for the multi-talented actor to showcase a different side of his persona since most fans that have seen him live have attended conventions or his trivia game show, Last Fan Standing.
