Crystal Lake Radio‘s playlist would be nothing if it didn’t feature this song. Crispin Glover fans would threaten us with corkscrews. The band Lyon weren’t around for very long, but sometime between 1983 and 1989, they changed the spelling to Lion. Whilst they’ve contributed to the soundtracks of a couple other 80s films, I believe they’ll forever be known for “Love is a Lie” in 1984’s Friday the 13th part 4: The Final Chapter.
5. His Eyes – Pseudo Echo
Jason certainly has a thing for sneaking up on his victims whenever they’re rocking out to music; whether it’s J.J. in Jason Takes Manhattan, Cort in Jason Lives or Violet in 1985’s A New Beginning. He does it so, so well. If you’ve mastered Crispin Glover’s dance in the previous installment, try putting this track on and emulate Violet’s robot dance, but be sure you look behind you every now and then — it just may save your life.
6. He’s Back (The Man Behind the Mask) – Alice Cooper
Horror movies and heavy metal music coalesce so perfectly, they’re practically consanguineous in a sense. A staple of this connection is Alice Cooper, who is featured throughout 1986’s Jason Lives. For some reason, there doesn’t seem to be a better quality of this, but in case you’ve never seen the official music video, you can watch it on YouTube.
