America Unearthed returns to television on Travel Channel this month. The series follows the adventures of Scott Wolter, a forensic geologist who uncovers the hidden truths behind historical mysteries.

America Unearthed has been rediscovered by Travel Channel! The show follows the adventures of forensic geologist, inventor and television personality, Scott Wolter. He is known for being the creator of Archaeopetography which is defined as “a process used to date and understand the origins of inscribed stone artifacts.”

His scientific skills are prized. In the past, he assisted our government with analyzing the fire damage done to the concrete of the Pentagon after the tragedy of 9/11. Among his many diverse disciplines, he is also a published author well-known for his books on the Knights Templar.

Coincidentally, it was his appearance on the documentary, Holy Grail in America for the History Channel in 2009 that led to the first incarnation of America Unearthed. The series ran from 2012 to 2015 on the network.

It was a must see for anyone that enjoyed learning about American folklore as well as exploring offbeat topics like the New World Order, the Illuminati and historical mysteries like what happened to the colonists at Roanoke.

Scott Wolter 2 – America Unearthed – Travel Channel

In February of this year, Travel Channel decided to resurrect America Unearthed bringing Wolter back as host. Per the network press release, the show will be premiering on its new home Tuesday, May 28 at 10 p.m. The season will consist of 10 one-hour episodes.

Some of the topics that viewers can look forward to include exploration of the theory that Vikings may have visited Arizona after some unusual artifacts surface in the southwestern state. Scott Wolter also goes on the hunt for alien life when he ventures to Mexico to look at cave inscriptions that indicate a primitive society may have had close encounters of the third kind.

America Unearthed will also travel to Pennsylvania to view a cave that may have been used for rituals before the Revolutionary War. Scott will also delve into the possibility that Jack the Ripper may have been a famous writer.
