End Game or Requiem for Ash

1428 Elm: So, I guess the last question I have for you, Bruce is about Requiem for Ash, the paperback edition of Hail to the Chin 2.

BC: Sept. 17!

1428 Elm: Yes! Our copy is ordered. What can your fans expect?

BC: It will be a full, personal explanation that will never be satisfactory.

1428 Elm: Does that frustrate you on any level?

BC: Yeah, but that’s showbiz, baby. It’s very hard to communicate clearly to enough people to make a point. You can’t please everybody all the time. It’s all good. These days with information getting so screwed up, I’m glad that people have anything clear in their heads.

Most people still call it Ash vs Evil. Do you realize that?

1428 Elm: Yes, we do, unfortunately.

BC: Like that’s why the show was canceled because everyone was calling it, Ash vs Evil. Because Stan Against Evil stuck in their heads more than Ash vs Evil Dead. I’m like wow. It’s mindboggling. That’s all right. You move on, you roll on and here we are. We’re on to the next. I’m on to Ripley’s.

It’s a quality show. They give a s*** and its new leadership at Travel Channel, it’s not your father’s Travel Channel and I’m just excited. I can’t wait to see it play out.

1428 Elm: Your fans can’t wait to see it either.

BC: We’ll find out. Ratings don’t lie.

1428 Elm: As much as people want to believe they do. Can you tell us will there be a mini-tour for Requiem for Ash?

BC: Sept. 17. It will all be posted. I am going to about 6 to 8 cities tied into conventions. I’ll be selling books. It’s a combo platter. It won’t be bookstores.

1428 Elm: Thanks so much, Bruce. It is always a pleasure talking to you. We hope Ripley’s is a big success!

BC: We’ll see. From your lips to Ripley’s ears.

As always, we had a great time talking to Bruce Campbell. You can catch him this Sunday on Travel Channel for the premiere of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! at 9 p.m.
