As the weather gets hot, we check out the hottest summer horror movies headed from the screens to your eyes for Summer 2019.
Normally, I hate the summertime. I spend the next three months pretending that summer is just the pre-game for Halloween. But this summer feels a little bit different. I am so excited about summer this year and I think the amount of amazing summer horror movies coming out has a little something to do with it.
Whether it’s a remake, reboot, sequel, or original idea, this sunny season will have a little something for everyone. The ideas are all over the board in terms of frights for the summer releases. We have everything from killer dolls to killer families, killer clowns to nostalgic scary stories.
While the first official summer releases started opening in theaters Memorial Day weekend, many others are summer horror movies you’ll have to wait a little bit for. I have listed these from the kind of anticipated to the “Oh my god, I am going to literally hold my breath until it comes out” and there are 15 horror movies in all.
