Child’s Play and the 15 best horror movies coming this summer

4. The Dead Don’t Die (June 14)
I am such a slut for zombie movies. If I have said it once, then I have said it 100 times: I will give ANY zombie film a chance. Not often does a zombie film come along which looks extremely put together, but put together doesn’t a good movie make either. Enter the film The Dead Don’t Die.
Automatically, I am on board for this film at the mere mention of the “z” word. But you add in the awesome cast they have put together and you have a horror film with a ton of potential. It’s easy to make a zombie movie, but it’s hard to make a GOOD zombie movie and even harder to make a good zombie horror-comedy.
The story, as much as we know of it at least, isn’t too complicated. The small town of Centerville finds itself fighting for survival as the undead begin to walk the earth. It’s pretty straightforward. But look at this cast: Billy Murray (hopefully he actually lives through THIS zombie apocalypse), Adam Driver and Steve Buscemi. If a zombie film wasn’t enough to drag you in, then the fact that this is a zombie comedy with Bill frickin’ Murray might!
