9. Annabelle Comes Home (June 26)

I will be honest, I didn’t even know there was another Annabelle movie on the way. That’s not to say that I don’t love James Wan’s movies. He is a very talented writer and director and I am still in the stages of grief hearing that he backed out of the Resident Evil movie franchise remake. If anyone could fix that undead garbage fire, it would be him.

And no matter your opinion of Ed and Lorraine Warren and their questionable intentions during their paranormal researching days, the Annabelle films are very popular, so people are excited for the third installment.

While we looked back at Annabelle’s roots in the second film, Annabelle Comes Home brings us back to the Warrens and the glass cage that Annabelle would inevitably stay in. After Ed and Lorraine bring the doll to their home museum of “evil” items, Annabelle takes it upon herself to awaken the evil spirits within all of the items in the museum which then go after the Warren’s daughter, Judy.

We have seem Judy in previous films in the Warren universe and we always knew something was coming for her. I look forward to seeing all of the evil objects come alive in this summer horror release.
