12. Amityville Dollhouse (1996)

Why does it always have to be dolls, man? We just did a summer release list not too long ago, and it had its own fair share of creepy dolls with a murderous streak and I’m just not into that. Dolls are creepy enough as it is without being crazy. Wait…what’s that? It’s the dollHOUSE that’s haunted? Well, I guess that’s better then. At least it doesn’t have dead, glass eyes.

When a little girl receives a dollhouse made to look like the Amityville Horror house, she finds that it isn’t just dolls that live in that house, but a hidden evil that is after her family.  Awful events begin to occur and they have to figure out what is happening and struggle to find what the cause is.

This film was written by Joshua Michael Stern and directed by Steve White. It stars Robin Thomas as Bill Martin, Starr Andreeff as Claire Martin, Allen Cutler as Todd Martin, and Franc Ross as Tobias.

With all of the creepy doll movies coming out this summer, they need a house to live in, so this could be a good addition to your summer horror movie list. This movie will give you yet another reason to keep dolls and dollhouses out of your home, as if you needed another reason. Creepy.
