William Shatner is at the top of his game as the host of History Channel’s The UnXplained. Join the actor on a journey through the disturbing and the strange.

William Shatner has always been the adventurous type. So, it really is no surprise that he would be hosting and executive producing a series about weird and in some cases troubling mysteries. He challenges people to get out of their comfort zones and to start exploring and asking questions.

In the first episode of the History Channel’s The UnXplained, Shatner takes us to several locations that have been deemed cursed or evil. If you are into creepy and enjoy taking a walk on the dark side, then you have come to the right place.

Nothing is more entertaining than watching the actor introduce each segment. He has the gravitas to be compelling and he adds an undertone of drama that really works for a show of this nature.

The audience will learn of the eerie legend of Aokigahara in Japan or the Suicide Forest. This is the place where people go when they have no hope for the future. Shatner’s series tries to determine if there is a scientific explanation for what is going on or if it is just sinister forces at work.

One of the standout featured stories deals with Willows Weep. This is an extremely haunted site in Cayuga, Indiana. It has been well documented within the paranormal community about how cursed it is. We learn that the house on the property was built in the shape of an upside-down cross and that many tragic deaths occurred inside throughout the decades.

What is causing all of this misery? Is the history behind Willows Weep pure evil or something else? Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg so to speak because there are other locales to visit that are just as terrifying and ominous. If you enjoy mysteries and have an inquiring spirit tune into The UnXplained. You may have found your new favorite show.
