3. Charles -The Escort

Charles is a new age type of guy who is a successful composer. His son, Mitch, on the other hand is struggling. A writer by trade, he loses his job and has to try and land another assignment. Meanwhile, his world is crashing around him because on top of everything he is addicted to sex.

When things hit an especially low point, Mitch goes to visit Charles to ask for money. Applying the tough love policy, Charles informs him that he won’t lend him anything. He also advises his son that he get his act together.

Mitch’s friend holds an intervention and Charles implores him to seek treatment for his addiction. Instead, Mitch befriends an escort named Natalie. The pair hit it off and he decides to take a freelance assignment with Natalie as the subject of an exposé.

They fall in love but quickly have a spat and decide to spend time apart. Mitch is clearly heartbroken but he ends up writing this amazing piece on her which is clearly a thinly veiled love letter. He goes to see his father and the two have a heart to heart talk.

Finally, Charles tells his son that he is proud of him and admits that he read his article. The two bond again and Charles encourages him to go after his girl. Even though he is hard on his son, he clearly loves him and just wants what’s best for him.
