Are you a fan of haunted houses and escape rooms? Don’t miss out on ScareHouse’s new attraction, The Scream District, this Halloween.

ScareHouse presents a brand-new concept this Halloween that will be called The Scream District. Located in the Strip District of Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania, The Scream District will feature two separate attractions.

These attractions, an immersive experience called The Basement, and a high-stakes escape room can be completed in one visit or on separate occasions!

Here’s the scoop on what each new area will entail:

Stalked by a Killeis a terrifying escape room to complete with your friends. You must escape in under an hour or risk falling prey to a poisonous gas! You’ll only have your wits about you as you and your team race against the clock to complete a series of puzzles from the maniac who has trapped you.

The escape room is recommended for those over the age of 12, if you’re under 16, you will require adult supervision.

If you were scared of this attraction in the past, you’ll be doubly so this year with incredibly detailed new sets and nightmarish scenarios. The room is only open to guests who are 18 years and older. You must sign a waiver to be granted entry.

Both of these attractions will be offered throughout select nights in early November. The exact opening date has yet to be announced.

If you’re an annual visitor to the Pittsburg Strip District then you’re probably well aware of the Market Square. ScareHouse and The Original Oyster House will team up again to bring the pop-up bar, Zombie Den, back to the area. It will open on September 24th.

The Zombie Den is inspired by the classic film, Night of the Living Dead, and creates a “safe house” in the midst of a zombie outbreak. It should be a spooky delight for all horror fans.

If you need more of a reason to pay Pittsburgh a visit this Halloween, actor Elijah Wood, gushed about how scary The Basement was during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. He claimed it was “really scary and really intense.”

Ready to plan your trip? Tickets to The Basement attraction start at $32 for a single admission, or you can pay $43 for two people. As for the Stalked by a Killer escape room, it costs $27 per person.

You can find additional information about The Scream District on the official website. Tickets will go on sale soon.
