Monster-Mania welcomes William Katt and George Wendt to Hunt Valley, Maryland. It’s time for a House party!

Monster-Mania is feeling the 1980’s nostalgia with their latest guest additions.

William Katt and George Wendt worked together 34 years ago on the Steve Miner directed and Sean S. Cunningham produced horror-comedy, House. Since then, the classic film has become a must-see experience for anyone that enjoys a good haunted dwelling story.

The tale of Roger Cobb (William Katt), a Vietnam vet is rather unfortunate. He was a successful writer until his son mysteriously disappears from his aunt’s house. This chaotic event starts the downward spiral of Roger’s life.

His obsession with finding out what happened ends up destroying his career as well as his marriage. When his aunt meets an unexpected demise, Cobb is forced to return to the abode where all of his terrifying experiences began. In the process, he has to confront different evil beings and his past.

George Wendt plays Harold Gorton, a neighbor of Roger’s aunt and a fan of his writing. Cobb tries to convince him that something isn’t right with the house and tries to recruit him to help investigate.

What’s not to like about this movie? There is plenty going on from evil entities to hauntings to psychological horror mixed with humor. You can’t help but enjoy everyone and their performances.

Fans might also remember William Katt as dreamy Tommy Ross in Brian De Palma’s Carrie. As well as his role in the beloved 80’s sitcom, The Greatest American Hero where he played Ralph Hinkley, a school teacher who unwittingly becomes a superhero.

George Wendt was on the blockbuster sitcom, Cheers as Norm Peterson, a regular at the bar where everybody knows your name and perennial wise guy.

From Oct. 4 through Oct. 6, Katt and Wendt will be having a House reunion at Monster-Mania in Hunt Valley, MD. This is a great opportunity to meet and greet these two veteran actors. To purchase tickets for this awesome horror convention click here.
