The Addams Family: Christina Aguilera writes a new original song for the movie

The Addams Family is an upcoming animated film based on the comics by Charles Addams. The movie is set to feature original music from popular music acts.
The Addams Family is the next story about the beloved and creepy family. Morticia, Gomez, Wednesday, and the rest of the clan all return for another outing when the family moves to New Jersey.
What happens when you place a family known for their gothic tendencies in the middle of 21st-century suburbia? The Addams family will be forced to face off against a cunning reality television host all while preparing for an extended family reunion.
While the film isn’t set to release until next month, MGM has released information about the film’s soundtrack. It will feature original songs from many global superstars such as Karol G, Rock Mafia, Snoop Dog, Migos, and Christina Aguilera!

You don’t want to miss the return of this kooky family, especially not with what is sure to be an excellent batch of songs. Aside from a star-studded musical line-up, the movie’s voice cast is equally impressive.
Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Finn Wolfhard, Chloë Grace Moretz, Nick Kroll, Bette Midler, Allison Janney, Elsie Fisher, and Snoop Dogg will all lend their voices to bring the kooky family to life on the big screen.
The first new track to be released is titled “My Family.” It is performed by Migos, Rock Mafia, Snoop Dog, and Karol G. Be on the lookout for the single when it drops on iTunes this Friday, September 13. Aguilera’s song, “Haunted Heart” is set to be released later this month.
In the press release, Jonathan Glickman, MGM’s President, says “we could not have asked for a better lineup of global superstars to help audiences embrace the weird and celebrate the absurd with two brand-new songs that perfectly compliment this fresh fun take on MGM’s beloved franchise.”
