Evil Dead is returning to the silver screen with a lusciously layered reimagined score from composer Joseph LoDuca. Fans get ready to experience a beautiful new nightmare!

Thanks to Grindhouse Releasing, Evil Dead is returning to the silver screen featuring a beautifully orchestrated reimagined score from composer, Joseph LoDuca. Now, old and new audiences will be able to see Sam Raimi’s horror masterpiece and experience the incredible 5.1 surround sound mix.

For fans of the trilogy, this is a must-see event. To hear LoDuca’s luscious arrangement with strings and percussion in a theater would definitely be delightful. The fully orchestrated score is very reminiscent of Bernard Hermann’s Psycho in some parts.

Music is definitely an important component of any film because it sets the tone and evokes particular emotions at the right moments.

Which is evidenced in the scene where Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) is burying his beloved Linda in the featured clip from Mondo Con. The tension is so palpable you are on high alert the entire time you are watching the action onscreen.

Evil Dead will be playing in select cinemas beginning today. The film will make its Canadian debut in Vancouver, British Columbia at the Rio Theatre.
