Make sure you catch 47 Meters Down: Uncaged when the movie swims home to digital in October and Blu-ray and DVD in November!

Are you a fan of shark movies? Do you fear what lurks in the dark heart of our oceans? If so then you probably watched and enjoyed the recent film, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged.

A sequel to the Claire Holt and Mandy Moore movie released a couple of years ago. Uncaged introduces a new group of girls for a terrifying deep-dive into underwater caves.

The thrill of exploring a hidden city surpasses the potential for fear, at least until they find themselves trapped and surrounded by hungry sharks. Navigating claustrophobic caverns surrounded by sharks is no easy task.

If you enjoyed the movie in theaters, then you’ll be happy to know you don’t have to wait much longer to own it. Digital Chumps reports that 47 Meters Down: Uncaged will be released on Digital 4K Ultra HD on October 29 and on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, and On Demand, on November 12.

Special features for Uncaged include an in-depth audio commentary with writer/director Johannes Roberts, producer James Harris, and writer Ernest Riera. You will also be privy to a featurette about the film’s making-of called Diving Deeper.

The movie stars Sophie Nélisse, Corinne Fox, Brianne Tju, Sistine Stallone, Davi Santos, Khylin Rhambo, Nia Long, and John Corbett.

While the movie didn’t do well with critics, audiences were slightly more favorable. The film wound up making $33 million at the box office on a $12 million budget. It remains to be seen if there will be a third 47 Meters Down movie.
