Jamie Lee Curtis is currently filming the upcoming Halloween sequel, Halloween Kills, and she’s looking a little worse for the wear in a new pic!

Halloween Kills started production last month with filming in Wilmington, North Carolina. We’ve been getting a steady trickle of new information about the upcoming Blumhouse sequel since two follow-ups were announced to the 2018 film.

It’s no surprise that Halloween (2018) did incredibly well at the box office considering it marked the return of original actress, Jamie Lee Curtis, in her iconic role of Laurie Strode. John Carpenter also returned. Both Carpenter and Curtis will continue their collaboration on Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends.

More from Horror Movies

Last month Curtis also teased what we can anticipate from Laurie in the next two films, which mark a new continuity that forgoes all the movies between the original 1978 film and the 2018 sequel.

Halloween Kills will focus more on the trauma Laurie has experienced throughout her life due to being terrorized by Michael Meyers.

Well, Jamie Lee Curtis officially returned to the role in her first day on set yesterday and it appears they weren’t messing around. Curtis shared a photo and in it, Laurie is looking worse for the wear.

While Curtis herself appears to be smiling as I’m sure she’s pleased to be working on the films again, you can’t ignore the dirt under her fingernails, the scratches on her arms, and the marks on her face! Could she be filming a scene late in the movie when Michael has already resurfaced to seek revenge?

It’s also possible that she could be filming a scene that takes place directly after the ending of Halloween. The last time we saw Laurie and her family they had locked Michael inside a burning house. But as we all know, he’s simply not that easy to kill.
