You may have heard about the horrific haunted house known as McKamey Manor, but did you know if you make it through you could win $20,000?

Do you consider yourself a haunted house aficionado? If so, you may have heard of McKamey Manor, one of the most famous haunted houses in the United States. The haunted house has a waiting list of more than 27,000 people hopeful for the chance to prove they’re strong enough to brave the terror inside.

While you might be familiar with the legendary status of McKamey Manor, you might not realize you could win a major cash prize for making it through, one that no one has managed to claim yet. Fast Company wrote an article recently detailing the possibility for riches and glory upon completion of the verifiable torture house.

The Manor is run by Russ McKamey and in order to take part in the dangerous haunted house you have to sign a 40-page waiver, get a physical, and even take part in a screening process to make sure you can handle what’s inside. You’ll also need a safe word, that’s how extreme McKamey Manor is.

Fast Company reports that if you somehow manage to make it through the horror extravaganza, you’ll be rewarded with a well-earned $20,000 to accompany your trauma. To this day, not one person has managed to make it through and reap the rewards.

You don’t even have to pay to enter! They accept canned dog food to donate to local shelters and that’s all it takes to live out your fantasy of being tormented.

McKamey Manor has been up and running for about 20 years now, it has even grown to different locations from where it initially began in San Diego, California. People who have gone through the house reported being force-fed, nearly drowned, quarantined with all sorts of creepy-crawlies, and much more.
