  • Starring: Keri Russell, Jesse Plemons, Jeremy T. Thomas, Graham Greene, Scott Haze, Rory Cochrane, and Amy Madigan

Synopsis: Guillermo del Toro is the producer behind this upcoming gruesome monster story. Antlers is based on a short story written by novelist Nick Antosca. It follows a young teacher from a small town in Oregon named Julia Meadows (Russell).

She and her brother, the town sheriff (Plemons) try to help one of her students who happens to be hiding a dark secret. The trailer is the definition of frightening. Del Toro’s involvement is evident in the creature’s design.

Release Date:  April 17

13. The Conjuring 3

  • Director: Michael Chaves
  • Starring: Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga

Synopsis: It’s not entirely clear what the film’s plot will be. At one point Wan talked about it featuring lycanthropy, something that was recently echoed by film star Patrick Wilson. However, Wan also stated that the movie would focus on the first court defendant to use possession as an excuse in court. It’s unclear if the movie will have elements of both cases or just one.

While Wilson and Farmiga did return to reprise their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren earlier this year in Annabelle Comes Home, their screentime was minuscule. Fans are looking forward to seeing the duo in the starring roles once again. The Conjuring 3 will be the eighth installment overall in the franchise.
