12. Gretel & Hansel

Synopsis: You’ve never heard the fairytale Hansel and Gretel told quite like this before. Gretel & Hansel is an upcoming supernatural horror film based on the infamous story. It Chapter One star Sophia Lillis has been cast as Gretel with newcomer Sam Leakey playing her brother Hansel.

We all know the story of Hansel and Gretel, two siblings take to the dark woods and stumble upon the home of a witch, but based on the trailer for this horror movie it will be more terrifying than even the Brothers Grimm could have anticipated.

11. Halloween Kills

  • Starring: Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Kyle Richards, Anthony Michael Hall, and Dylan Arnold

Synopsis: Last year, Blumhouse released the official sequel to the original Halloween film. John Carpenter and Jamie Lee Curtis both returned, much to the delight of horror fans. After the success of the new canon sequel, Blumhouse decided to order two more films in the franchise. Halloween Kills is next and slated to release next fall.

The movie just recently wrapped production. Plot details are mostly being kept under wraps but we can guess that Michael Myers survived the fire in Laurie Strode’s cellar. Several of the original franchise actors will return to reprise their roles in this film such as Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and more.
