BERLIN, GERMANY – APRIL 14: Retired government tax authority employee Christian Franzke (L) helps Goza Boya, 9, a migrant from Serbia, in her pronunciation while reading a German children’s book at the bi-weekly “Integration Cafe” get-together at a shelter for refugees and migrants in Zehlendorf district on April 14, 2016 in Berlin, Germany. Locals, many of them retirees, come to the shelter regularly to help the refugees and migrants, who are from countries including Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo and Serbia. The coalition partners of the German government yesterday announced a new package of legislation that includes measures to foster the integration of refugees who have received asylum status in Germany. Bedtime Story

The Rasmussen brothers, Michael and Shawn who penned the fun summer monster flick, Crawl will be working with Sam Raimi again. After seeing the short film, Bedtime Story at Fantasia Film Festival, the duo liked the work so much that they brought it to Raimi to produce.

Lucas Paulino and Angel Torres who directed the original effort will be on board to helm the feature length production. The story follows a young mother who tells her sons a scary tale before bed that ends up coming to life in a disturbing way.

Michael and Shawn Rasmussen will join Romel Adam, Zainab Azizi and Paco Rodriguez as executive producers. Right now, the producers are looking to hire writers for the project.

Starlight Media is also attached to Bedtime Story because of the development deal they have with Raimi and Rob Tapert’s Ghost House Pictures.

This production is categorized as in development and is in treatment status according to IMDb Pro. Bedtime Story is definitely one to watch out for.
