This year had some excellent selections for horror television. We’re taking a look back at some of the absolute best new horror shows from 2019.

As 2019 comes to a close, we’re taking a look back at some of the brand-new television series we’ve received this year. Between Facebook Watch, Hulu, Shudder, and Netflix, 2019 was a great one for horror television shows on streaming services.

Hulu gave us a fascinating new horror anthology show, Into the Dark. Each episode was set around a different holiday and comprised a new story and new cast while Netflix provided us with multiple serial killer documentaries and shows like Mindhunter and more.

Shudder became even more relevant this year with some significant horror acquisitions and the release of their new horror series, Creepshow. Overall, 2019 was an excellent year for horror fans, and 2020 looks to be even better with tons of terrifying new content on the way for both television and film.

It was challenging to pick just ten new shows from this year that genuinely shined, but we did our best to find some real gems. Remember that this list is only about brand-new shows, you won’t find any of the long-running series like American Horror Story or Supernatural here. We’re trying to give a shoutout to the newbies!

The following list is not in any particular order.
