Tell Me a Story: 3 huge moments in Season 2, Episode 4
The most recent episode of Tell Me a Story takes us on a wild ride. Check out three huge moments from “Number One Fan”!
In the most recent episode of Tell Me a Story titled “Number One Fan,” we learn more about some of the characters’ past and dive into an action-packed scene that ends with death. I didn’t expect so much to happen so soon in the season, but I can’t wait to see what direction this will take us in! Keep reading to find out three huge moments in this week’s episode!
A glimpse into Tucker Reid’s childhood
Tell Me a Story’s “Number One Fan” gives us more insight into Tucker Reid’s past and his current intentions. Through flashbacks and later a conversation between Tucker and Maddie, we learn about Anna — Tucker’s twin sister, who drowned in the lake when they were six.
Although this doesn’t forgive any of Tucker’s actions, we finally get to understand the reasons as to why he’s kidnapped Olivia. When Tucker discusses his intentions towards Olivia, he says it’s because he’s writing a new book about love and loss, and finds it helpful to have a subject that relates.
His spoken reasoning may be true. However, it’s probably safe to assume that there’s much more to it than that. We learn that the dungeon he has set up looks exactly like Anna’s childhood bedroom. Is Olivia the new Anna for Tucker?
Kyle gets into Ashley Rose’s home
A lot of the action in “Number One Fan” occurs in Ashley Rose’s house. After a night spent together, Kyle wakes before Susie and snoops in the content of her cellphone. He then, unbeknown to Susie, hitches a ride in her trunk; getting past the security gates at the Pruitt’s estate.

Without being noticed, Kyle manages to knock out the on-shift guard, Jeff, and tie Susie up. Ashley discovers her assistant, but before being able to rescue her, Kyle comes up from behind. Kyle assures Ashley Rose that he’s not going to hurt her and that when things were going wrong in his life, it was Ashley Rose’s music that was there for him. She then agrees to go with him as long as he leaves Susie behind.
But, of course, Ashley Rose isn’t going to go down so quickly. A fight breaks between the two, and after hearing a scream, Beau comes to the rescue, armed with a gun that he’s not afraid to use. He shoots Kyle, officially eliminating the threat.
With Kyle, who appears to be the villain in Ashley Rose’s tale, dying so soon, we have to assume that there’s much more to what’s going on. Does this mean that Kyle wasn’t the person who bombed her car? Will that person eventually come out to play?
Simone and Jackson breaks into the distillery
One thing that I feel we don’t get enough of is Simone’s story. But, after this episode, I assume this will be changing. As we’ve learned from previous episodes, Simone has an inkling that something just isn’t right with how her father died. She confides in Jackson, telling him that she believes Veronica and her step-brother are trying to steal her father’s distillery, Garland Creek.
Jackson then offers to give her a ride to the distillery so that she can break into her father’s safe. After seemingly coming up with nothing of interest, Simone and Jackson get caught for breaking in. Veronica then leaps into a story about Simone’s criminal past and the three years she served in prison.
Veronica promises that as long as Simone leaves Nashville that night, she would not report the break-in to Veronica’s parole officer. Simone agrees, but it’s not for sure that she’ll stick with this — especially after discovering photos proving Veronica was cheating on Frank.
