9. Resident Evil 3, April 3

Resident Evil 2‘s remake was a huge hit, so much so that the remake actually outsold the original game. I wouldn’t be surprised if Capcom made a tradition of delivering a Resident Evil remake each year. And I know that I’m not alone with saying that I’d welcome this with open arms.

Resident Evil 3‘s remake was announced at the PlayStation’s State of Play, after already being spoiled by a few leaks. Players will be taking the role of Jill Valentine as she fights her way through Racoon City.

Resident Evil 3 is said to be more action-packed than Resident Evil 2 and will have a lot of changes from the original PlayStation game. Fans who purchase Resident Evil 3 will also be able to play the brand new Resident Evil multi-player, Resident Evil: Resistance.

8. The Last of Us Part II, May 29

The Last of Us Part II is probably the most anticipated game for most gamers. The PlayStation exclusive game’s original release date was in February, but Naughty Dog did not feel the game to be polished enough, pushing it back to a May release. Personally, the delay makes me even more excited to get my hands on the game.

The Last of Us Part II takes place five years after Joel and Ellie’s original trek through the post-apocalyptic world. The duo has found a community to settle down in, one in which they finally find peace. But, we all know Naughty Dog is going to destroy their brief moment of happiness. After a violent event occurs, Ellie embarks on another journey through the dangerous world to carry out justice.

7. Dying Light 2, Spring 2020

Dying Light 2 is the first of many games on this list that doesn’t have a set release date. However, it’s expected to be released in Spring. This action game promises 100 hours of content, with 15-20 hours being dedicated to the campaign.

Dying Light 2 will have players killin’ zombies and parkouring across buildings, just like it’s predecessor. However, RPG-elements will be a lot heavier this time around. Players (also like its predecessor) will be able to play the campaign with up to 4 other players.
