Mark Hamill is set to conquer the underworld when he appears in Season 2 of What We Do in the Shadows on FX.

Mark Hamill has conquered the universe as Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise. Now, the veteran actor is set to take over the underworld when he guest stars on Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi’s hit FX series, What We Do in the Shadows.

According to Deadline, Clement made the announcement at the Winter 2020 Television Critics Association Press Tour. At present, there is no information on the character that Hamill will play.

The actor was so excited, he took to Twitter to let his fans know the good news. Apparently, Mark is a huge fan of the TV series about three vampires trying to co-exist on Staten Island, New York. Think of the Real World for supernatural creatures and you have the right idea.

Fans of director/writer/producer Taika Waititi will be disappointed. Clement confirmed that he will not be directing any episodes for Season 2.

Doug Jones, Tilda Swinton, Evan Rachel Wood, Danny Trejo, Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman) and Wesley Snipes made appearances in 2019. It will be interesting to see what other actors may be joining Hamill.

Will the actor play himself or will he portray a character? We are hoping that they make him a fellow vampire!
