From the creator of last year’s hit, Bliss, comes a new film about several veterans’ fight for survival. Check out an exclusive clip from VFW.

For those who loved Joe Begos’s vampire thriller, Bliss, from last year, you should be excited to learn that he has another movie coming out very soon titled VFW, starring Stephen Lang, William Sadler, and Martin Kove. We’ve been lucky enough to receive an exclusive clip from the film to share with our readers!

The film follows a group of war veterans at the local VFW (a bar that usually caters to veterans) who must fight for their survival after a young girl shows up with stolen drugs. A gang of mutant punks invades the bar in search of the girl and the veterans must band together to fend them off in a violent battle that could mean life or death.

VFW will officially premiere this coming weekend, just in time for Valentine’s Day, if you and your significant other both love horror!

The clip shows a tense confrontation between Stephen Lang’s character and Travis Hammer’s character. Lang is peering through a hole in the wall while Hammer threatens him. It looks like a serious scuffle has already taken place given the sweat (and is that blood?) on both actors’ faces.

It ends with Stephen Lang’s character saying, “I’m gonna cut your heart out,” in a very scary snarl. We’re excited to see what happens next.

The film also stars David Patrick Kelly, Sierra McCormick, Tom Williamson, Travis Hammer, and Dora Madison.
