Ice-T, his wife Coco and other stars along with psychic medium, Kim Russo, revisit the ghosts of their pasts on the reimagined Celebrity Ghost Stories. The series first premiered on the Biography Channel in 2009 and became an instant success before transitioning onto the A & E network.
Who wouldn’t watch a show featuring various movie and television personalities recounting past paranormal experiences? Fast forward to the present and the production is getting a revival of sorts. A & E is betting on a huge turnout for their latest version of the classic program.
Host and spiritual guide, Kim Russo has been interacting with apparitions for over twenty years. She specializes in helping individuals confront their deepest fears and in some cases, overcome traumatic encounters with supernatural beings.
She is also a bestselling author and a renowned public speaker who has appeared at many venues. Perhaps what is the most interesting detail about her is that she is a skeptic who seeks truth. Russo doesn’t blindly believe rather she will search for proof before determining whether or not an event is supernatural in nature.
In the A & E promo, we see Kim with such well-known personalities as Paula Abdul, Kelly Osbourne, Terry Bradshaw, Taye Diggs and NeNe Leakes. She helps them come to terms with haunting episodes from their past.
Russo takes Law & Order: SUV actor, Ice-T to a factory in New Jersey to investigate some unexplainable phenomenon. What happens to him and his wife Coco just might turn this skeptic into a believer.
The medium also acts as an executive producer on the series along with A & E’s Elaine Frontain Bryant, Amy Savitsky, Jonathan Partridge and Jarrett Creative.
