Portals to Hell returns to Travel Channel for Season 2 with paranormal investigators, Jack Osbourne and Katrina Weidman. Join the duo on their quest for the truth.

Portals to Hell was a resounding hit in its first season on Travel Channel. So, it isn’t surprising that the show will be returning for Season 2 on Friday, March 13. Which is kind of apropos, if you think about it.

Jack Osbourne and Katrina Weidman will be gearing up for more paranormal adventures. Episode 1 finds them going to Old Paulding Jail in Ohio. As with any older institution, (150-years-old to be exact) the residual energy is bound to be off the charts. Apparently, the location is haunted by former inmates, sheriffs and the victim of a terrifying six decades old cold case.

Many people have reported disturbing encounters with shadow figures, hearing disembodied voices and seeing actual apparitions. One maintenance worker ran into the spirit of a deceased former sheriff at the facility while completing repairs. But perhaps the most troubling story of all revolves around the shoe that was found behind the walls of the jail.

As it turns out, it was believed to have belonged to 14-year-old murder victim, Nancy Eagleson. The circumstances of her death which occurred on Nov. 13, 1960 remain mysterious. She was walking home with her younger sister when she was abducted, assaulted and shot dead. Her remains were found by two hunters.

The shoe was tested for DNA back in 2013 but no profile could be established. This may be in part to the object’s age or the fact that her killer had taken precautions. What will be interesting to see is if the Portals to Hell team of Jack and Katrina can find new evidence to close this unsolved case for good and bring peace to the Eagleson family.
