The Turning DVD will feature an alternate ending to the controversial theatrical one

The Turning is finally coming to DVD and Blu-ray in April, and it will feature an alternate ending different from the controversial theatrical one.
One of the first horror films released this year was the supernatural flick based on the popular Henry James novella, The Turn of the Screw. The Turning starred Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard and Black Mirror actress Mackenzie Davis. Brooklynn Prince and Joely Richardson also starred.
Unfortunately, the film was panned by critics and audience members. In fact, it became the second film this year to earn a rare ‘F’ grade from audiences on CinemaScore. However, there are still some people who enjoyed the movie and would be happy to own it.
If you’re one of those folks, then you’ll be happy to know the film is going to be released on DVD and Blu-ray this April. The physical copies will be available on April 21. The digital date has yet to be announced, but it will likely release through digital retailers in early April.

The film will include several special features, including an alternate ending. That should appease some people who were very disappointed with the abrupt theatrical ending.
Additional extras included on the DVD and Blu-ray include extended scenes, deleted scenes, a digital copy of the film, and a behind-the-scenes featurette.
