Adam Green will livestream content from “Hatchet”, “Holliston”, and “Digging Up the Marrow” for fans in quarantine. Join the Coronapocalypse!

I have long said that Adam Green was one of the best in the film industry. I don’t mean just the horror film industry, I mean the film industry as a whole. I have been fortunate enough to meet Adam and Joe Lynch.

They say that you should never meet your heroes but it solidified for me the fact that Green and Lynch are national treasures. The director further proves this point with his more than a a week-long streaming schedule to help fans make it through quarantines, lock downs and keeping their mental health on track through this difficult time.

As I sit and write this, I am listening to the man, himself, read the first 100 pages of his book I, Survivor. For those of you that don’t know, I, Survivor is the very real book that was written by Andrew Yong, a first responder and the sole survivor from the Honey Island Massacre perpetrated by the legendary Victor Crowley. Yong was convicted of the massacre but acquitted and now he tells his story from his birth to the gory details of what took place.

This book was released for the premier of the fourth movie in the Hatchet franchise, Victor Crowley. For those that went to the premier, we were able to reserve a hard copy (MY PRECIOUS), but paperbacks, kindle editions and audiobook versions are available for purchase.

But this three-part live read of I, Survivor isn’t the only thing that Adam Green plans to stream during this week. He posted a complete schedule for his “Coronapocalypse” on his social media pages.

After this reading on 3/23-3/25 at 12PM PT, there will be a live stream of Digging Up the Marrow on 3/26 at 7PM PT with a Q&A. While I am a huge fan of Digging Up the Marrow, it is the next seven days that I am the most excited about.

I will tell anyone who will listen (and others that won’t) that Holliston is one of the greatest sitcoms ever created. It is autobiographical, silly, over-the-top and horror-centric.

For seven days, 2-3 episodes of Holliston will be streamed with a live Q&A included everyday at 12PM PT. For those in Europe that have never seen Holliston, this is an incredible opportunity to get some laughs while you are in lock down.

Holliston follows Adam and Joe, two aspiring horror film makers as they navigate the industry, relationships and what it means to be an adult. It is funny and sweet and features some big names in the genre.

More from Horror Legends

This is an incredible thing that Adam Green is doing for fans. Since many of us are struggling mentally with the idea of what is going on right outside our doors, he is taking some of his time to read to us, talk to us and occupy our minds with the kind of horror we WANT to see.

You can watch the streams via the ArieScope Youtube page. I will see you all on the streams and stay safe, stay healthy, STAY INDOORS and wash your hands!

Next. Celebrate 6 years of Holliston. dark
