Bruce Campbell reprises Ash Williams for quarantined fans on Twitter
Bruce Campbell reprised Ash Williams for his quarantined fans on Twitter yesterday. Time to listen up, primitive screwheads!
Bruce Campbell has joined the ranks of the many celebrities who are taking to social media with messages for their quarantined fans. With so many individuals in lockdown and the ability to travel is limited, entertainment is desperately needed to get through these trying times.
Yesterday, the actor took to his Twitter account to have a little animated fun. The last time we heard from Ash Williams was in Dead by Daylight. Even though Ash vs Evil Dead has been off the air for almost two years, that hasn’t stopped Ghostbeaters’ lovers from wanting a Season 4.
Supposedly, there is an Evil Dead game in the works with Campbell voicing his iconic character but with everything up in the air in the entertainment business right now, who knows when this effort will see the light of day? So, Bruce being a man who knows how to give the people what they want, came through as only he could do.
In his scenario, the Deadite slayer is retired. One can only imagine where that might be in the post-apocalyptic aftermath where we last saw him in “The Mettle of Man.” This time, instead of the Necronomicon ruining his party, it’s COVID-19 threatening to bring him out of his comfort zone.
Kudos to Campbell for thinking outside the box and not creating a traditional PSA. It definitely got the point across to follow the coronavirus protocols in a fun way.
