Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man has finally found a home on a streaming service. You can catch the web slinger on Hulu in April.

Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man has always been a fan favorite. However, if you didn’t own it on physical media, you were out of luck when it came to finding a streaming service to watch the film.

All of that is about to change, so if you are a fan of the web slinger, you are in luck. The Raimi classic is headed to Hulu next month according to Comic Book.

Mark Apr. 1 on your calendars because that is when the film is set to premiere. With the world coming to a screeching halt because of COVID-19, what better time to catch up with Peter Parker?

Bryan Singer’s X-Men set the tone for superhero productions and Raimi’s Spider-Man followed suit. The director was quickly propelled onto the A-List with the box office success that his effort achieved. One could almost say that those two blockbusters were the predecessors to current MCU extravaganza’s like Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: End Game.

Much like the relationship that the Evil Dead director forged with Bruce Campbell, his collaborations with Tobey Maguire were inspired endeavors. Sam clearly had a reverence for Stan Lee and Steve Ditko’s creation frequently citing it as his favorite comic read growing up.

Audiences could see that the Detroit native had the vision necessary to be a part of the MCU with Darkman. In our humble estimation, Raimi’s original effort could stand toe to toe with Iron Man or Captain America.

It is good to see that Spider-Man is now accessible for fans. Hulu could even introduce Raimi’s tale to an age group that was too young to see the original production in theaters.
