Destination Fear hits the road for Season 2 to explore more haunted U.S. locations. Childhood terrors are confronted as the team encounters the unknown.

Destination Fear, featuring the team of Dakota and Chelsea Laden, best friend Tanner Wiseman and cameraman, Alex Schroeder hits the road for Season 2 in April. Their fascination with the unknown continues on Travel Channel as they explore the U.S. in search of terrifying locations.

This time around, no one knows where they will be investigating which will just amp up the intensity of each episode. There will be more abandoned sites filled with haunting histories and agitated spirits. Apparently, this year will bring an entirely new meaning to the phrase, “getting ghosted.”

What makes their encounters especially chilling is the fact that after dealing with heightened paranormal activity during the day, they will have to endure it at night. Sleeping over will really test the limits of the team as they try and fight their personal anxieties.

The season premiere finds the group going back to their roots when they explore Nopeming Sanitorium which was a large part of Minnesota lore. For years, Dakota wanted to check out the Duluth locale but he never did.

1,500 deaths occurred at the facility and it is riddled with accounts of suicide, murder and horrific entities. During their endeavor, the crew gets more than they bargained for when poltergeist activity goes through the roof and they run into the spirit of a disturbed former maintenance man.

They will also visit Yorktown Memorial Hospital in Texas, Old Montana State Prison, Hill View Manor in New Castle, PA and other various institutions.
