Bruce Campbell appears in Time Warp cult horror films doc

Bruce Campbell appears in the star-studded documentary, Time Warp: The Greatest Cult Films of All Time – Vol. 2 Horror and Sci-Fi directed by Danny Wolf. What can we expect from this production?

Bruce Campbell has been a horror icon for over four decades. He is one of the few genre stars that has made several cult classics. When his name is mentioned immediately the Evil Dead trilogy springs to mind.

However, he has also appeared in Bubba Ho-Tep, Don Coscarelli’s adaptation of Joe R. Lansdale’s eccentric take on Elvis Presley as well as Bill Lustig’s Maniac Cop. Both films have their dedicated followers and aren’t gigantic mainstream franchises like A Nightmare on Elm Street or Friday the 13th.

According to Collider, the actor is one of the featured celebrities in the upcoming horror documentary, Time Warp: The Greatest Cult Films of All Time – Vol. 2 Horror and Sci-Fi. Directed by Danny Wolf and released by Quiver Distribution, this particular segment of the three-part series is hosted by Joe Dante, John Waters, Ileana Douglas and Kevin Pollak.

George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead and Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre are just some of the highlighted titles that will be discussed. Campbell will be sharing the spotlight with some of his contemporaries like Jeff Goldblum, Roger Corman and Rob Zombie.

Currently, the first part in this series which covers Midnight Madness will be coming to On Demand and Digital on Apr. 21. The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Big Lebowski and This Is Spinal Tap are some of the featured films that will be commented on by the directors and actors alike.

Time Warp: The Greatest Cult Films of All Time – Vol. 2 Horror and Sci-Fi featuring Bruce Campbell will be available On Demand and Digital on May 19.
