Did a ghost reveal how he died on The Conjuring House livestream?
The Conjuring House is one of the most famous haunted residences in the U.S. So, is it possible that a ghost revealed how he died during a livestream at the location?
The Conjuring House is the subject of a livestream event that will be ending today at the Harrisville, Rhode Island location. Many people became aware of this haunted residence thanks to James Wan’s successful 2013 film of the same name.
For those students of the supernatural, this abode was already on their radar thanks to demonologists, Ed and Lorraine Warren. House of Darkness House of Light, written by Andrea Perron (the family that is the subject of Wan’s first movie in The Conjuring franchise) details her harrowing experiences living in the cursed home with her family.
Current owners, Corey and Jennifer Heinzen are paranormal investigators who have opened their doors, (virtually) in conjunction with the Dark Zone Network to livestream their daily activities for charity. 16 cameras are strategically placed throughout the home with the hopes of capturing otherworldly events.
Connecticut Post reporter, Andrew DaRosa decided to join in the fun to see if he might be able to witness a spirit on camera. Of course, for the most part, the live feed had its share of “orbs” which the Heinzen’s stated were nothing more than dust.
However, in the center bedroom, something exceedingly disturbing took place. Corey and some of his ghost hunter acquaintances decided to conduct a spirit box session to see if they could make contact with any entities that might be hanging around.
Spirit boxes are AM/FM radios that have been altered to scan various frequencies in the hope that an apparition may be able to tune in and send a message. Sometimes, investigators will get evidence and then at other times nothing will happen.
At this particular moment in the livestream, a male entity identifying himself as “Marcus” stepped forth and decided to communicate with the living. When Corey asked how he had died, his response came through loud and clear, “Water.”
What made this answer particularly poignant was the fact that the main spirit haunting The Conjuring house grounds is a witch named Bathsheba Sherman. She had murdered her own son by drowning him. Later, she killed herself forever placing a curse on the land so that no one could ever live there in peace.
Bathsheba was known to have a son named Herbert. Although Census records can’t confirm this, it is rumored that she had more children with her husband Judson. But they all died mysteriously before the age of seven. Could one of them have been named Marcus?
